Summary: Alzheimer's Disease

This is a Phase 2, multi-center, double-blind, placebo controlled study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a study drug in patients with Alzheimer's Disease receiving a stable dose of donepezil. The study will be 26 weeks with 10 office visits. You will be compensated for your time and travel upon completion of study.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

• Male/female age 50 to 90
• Must be diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease
• Must be on a stable dose of donepezil 10 mg daily for at least 4 months

Patient Exclusion Criteria

• Neurological exam with focal deficits
• History or evidence of any CNS disorder that could be interpreted as a cause of dementia,stroke,epilepsy,Parkinson's Disease
• History of CA within 3 years
• Use of investigational drug within 30 days of screening
