Summary: Research study of an investigational medication for Alzheimer's Disease

A phase 2, multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel group study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational drug as monotherapy in subjects with Alzheimer's Disease.

Length of study: Approximately 34 weeks.

Number of office visits: 11

At no cost, qualified participants receive study related:

• Study medication
• Diagnostic and laboratory evaluations
• CT/MRI scan, if applicable
• Compensation for time and travel

This study is not available if any of the following applies to the patient:

• Cannot fluently read and speak English.
• Is less than 50 years old.
• Is not on a stable dose of Aricept.
• Does not have a reliable caregiver.
• Has serious health problems other than Alzheimer's disease.
