Trial Information

Summary: The purpose of this research study is to determine the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

You may participate in this research study if you:

  • Have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Are between 40 to 80 years of age.
  • Are a current smoker of former smoker with a smoking history of 10 or more pack years

You cannot participate in this research study if you:

  • Use oxygen more than 15hrs per day by nasal cannula
  • Have undergone any lung surgery in the past year or volume reduction at any time
  • Have active asthma or allergies

Study Benefits

  • Qualified participants will be compensated for time and travel.
  • Your symptoms of COPD may improve while participating in this study.
  • Your participation may help patients with COPD in the future by providing new alternative for COPD management.

Visit Schedule
There will be a total of 8 visits for a total duration of 14 weeks. Some visits may involve blood tests, x-rays, physical examination, breathing tests (spirometry), and questionnaires.
