Trial Information

Summary: A Phase 1B Study to Evaluate the Safety and Tolerability of AMG 655 in Combination with Bortezomib or Vorinostat in Subjects with Relapsed or Refractory Lymphoma

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have lymphoma that does not respond to standard therapy (refractory) or that has recurred after prior therapy (relapsed). If you have a B cell lymphoma, of any type, or Hodgkin Lymphoma, that has not responded or relapsed, then you may be asked to participate in the group receiving vorinostat plus AMG 655. If you have mantle cell lymphoma and have not received bortezomib, then you may be asked to participate in the group receiving bortezomib plus AMG 655. The purpose of this research is to determine the safety of the investigational drug, AMG 655, and to determine the highest possible dose that can be given in combination with bortezomib or vorinostat before unmanageable side effects are seen. If you have had a biopsy, you will be asked to donate a portion for research. In addition, blood samples will be taken throughout the study for research. The purpose of the research on blood and tissue samples is to look for markers (biological characteristics) that may help researchers develop tests to see who is most likely to benefit from the study drug or to experience side effects from the study drug. In addition, a scan of the body will be done to determine the effect of the study drugs on your lymphoma. Your treatment on this study is expected to last up to 6 months and could be longer if your lymphoma is not growing. After your treatment on this study is over, your medical condition will continue to be followed every 3 months for 2 years.
