Summary: Behavioral, Structural, and Functional Effects of Meditation

Healthy volunteers needed to participate in a neuro-imaging study on brain function.

Participate and receive a fMRI scanned picture of your brain!!!! (note: not a diagnostic image but looks great on your refrigerator)

Study requires 4.5 to 5 hours of your time at the neuro-imaging lab at Mass-General Hospital, Charlestown, in addition to on-line questionnaires.

Participants must:
be between the ages of 40 and 70
have no yoga or meditation experience
be a non-smoker
not be taking medication for a psychological/psychiatric condition

Participants will also be compensated $100 for their time
