Summary: Hypertension

Phase 3 randomized, double blind study to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a triple combination therapy of olmesartan medoxomil, amlodipine besylate, hydrochlorothiazide. This is a 57 week study with 20 office visits. You will be compensated for you time and travel upon completion of study.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

• Male or female 18 or older
• Demonstrated HTN defined as BP at least 140/100 or higher

Patient Exclusion Criteria

• DBP less than 90/140 (off HTN meds)
• Patients with uncontrolled HTN taking multiple antihypertensive therapies
• Unstable cardiovascular events in past 6 months
• Uncontrolled diabetes type I and II
• Hepatitis B,C or HIV
• Cancer within 2 years
• Current history of drug or alcohol abuse
• Uncontrolled medical condition that would jeopardize the safety of the subject
