Summary: Asthma Study CIGE025A2432
Novartis is conducting this clinical trial to find out if the drug omalizumab (XolairŽ) has beneficial effects on the airways in people who have moderate to severe allergic asthma. XolairŽ has been approved in the European Union and by the U.S Food and Drug Administration for the treatment of persistent allergic asthma.
Post-marketing studies to delineate additional information including the drugs risks, benefits, and optimal use.
