The research study involves five 2-hour visits over 4-6 weeks at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the compensation is up to $525. The study involves acquiring lung mechanics (measuring pressures and volumes in the lung) data and MRI images of the lung using hyperpolarized Helium gas at baseline conditions, after bronchial challenge by Methacholine, which narrows airways, and post bronchial relaxation by Albuterol, which opens airways.
