Summary: Constipation due to taking prescribed pain medications

Our clinic is conducting a research study to evaluate an investigational treatment for Opiod Induced Constipation in men and women with chronic, non-cancer related pain.

You may be able to participate if you are:

• At least 18 Years old
• Have a history of non-cancerous pain
• Currently taking an opiod pain medication
• Have constipation due to taking opiod pain medication

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

• Patients with a history of Infammatory nowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, or megacolon GI disorders are excluded.
