Summary: ABT-089, an investigational drug for the treatment of mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease
The aim of the study is to determine whether the investigational
drug ABT-089 is beneficial for enhancing cognition in treatment of
mild to moderate Alzheimer's Disease. Participants will have to
make study visits to the SHRI on a periodic basis for cognitive
testing and physical evaluation.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- Must be within 55 to 90 years of age
- If taking acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, must have been on a
stable dose upon entering the study
- Alzheimer's Disease must be mild to moderate
- Must have a caretaker
