Summary: Shingles Research study

Dr.Clark and the research department at the Longmont Clinic are currently enrolling in a research study of an investigational medication for shingles (herpes zoster). The study will last approximately 4 weeks and requires approximately 11 visits to the Longmon Clinic.

Criteria to participate

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Signs and symptoms of acute shingles (herpes zoster disease)
  • Onset of the shingles rash no more that 72 hours prior to enrolling on the study
  • No previous shingles vaccination
  • Generally healthy

The study provides:

  • All study related or required exams
  • Study medication
  • Compensation for time and travel
