Trial Information

Summary: PHII-059 NCI#1312: Phase II Trial of Depsipeptide in Patients with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma and Relapsed Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have cutaneous T-Cell lymphoma or relapsed (disease that has returned after previous treatment) peripheral T-Cell lymphoma.  The primary goal of this study is to determine the response of these diseases to the investigational drug Depsipeptide and to evaluate the tolerability of this drug when given over several months.  In addition, tumor and blood samples will be collected for laboratory studies on the effects of Depsipeptide at the molecular level.  Your treatment on this study may be continued as long as you do not experience unmanageable side effects and you are receiving some benefit from treatment as demonstrated by either lack of tumor growth or response to treatment (reduction in the tumor measurements).  After your treatment is over, your medical condition will continue to be followed for two years.
