Trial Information
Summary: Clinical trial to test a study drug in people with HIV-1
The main purpose of the study is to investigate whether or not
the study drug works well in reducing the amount of HIV-1 virus in
blood.
Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at
no cost.
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have HIV-1 infection
- Have never received treatment for your HIV-1
infection
You will not qualify if you:
- Are pregnant or breast-feeding
- Any previous treatment with HIV vaccines or use of AVR’s
- Any documented HIV-2 infection
- Have active tuberculosis
- Have participated in an experimental drug or experimental
vaccine within the last 90 days
