Summary: A Research Study for Adults with General Anxiety Disorder
Dr. Thomas Gualtieri at North Carolina
Neuropsychiatry in Chapel Hill needs volunteers, ages 18-65, to
participate in a clinical research trial of an investigational
medication for anxiety.
If you experience the following symptoms on a regular basis, you
may be suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder
- Difficulty controlling anxiety and worry
- Frequent muscle tension
- Irritability
- Problems with sleep
- Trouble concentrating
- Become tired easily
- Feel restless or on edge
Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:
- Ages 18-65 years old
- General Anxiety Disorder
- Our center is only able to enroll participants from the
surrounding metropolitan area due to the frequency of office
visits
Evaluation:
Study related psychiatric evaluation, and care, and study
medication are provided at no cost to qualified participants.
