Summary: A Research Study for Adults with General Anxiety Disorder

Dr. Thomas Gualtieri at North Carolina Neuropsychiatry in Chapel Hill needs volunteers, ages 18-65, to participate in a clinical research trial of an investigational medication for anxiety.

If you experience the following symptoms on a regular basis, you may be suffering from Generalized Anxiety Disorder

  • Difficulty controlling anxiety and worry
  • Frequent muscle tension
  • Irritability
  • Problems with sleep
  • Trouble concentrating
  • Become tired easily
  • Feel restless or on edge

Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria:

  • Ages 18-65 years old
  • General Anxiety Disorder
  • Our center is only able to enroll participants from the surrounding metropolitan area due to the frequency of office visits

Evaluation:
Study related psychiatric evaluation, and care, and study medication are provided at no cost to qualified participants.
