Trial Information

Summary: Do you have diabetes AND a foot ulcer?

According to WebMD, “When you have diabetes, taking good care of your feet is very important. Poor foot care can lead to serious problems, including possibly having to remove the foot or leg (amputation). As a person with diabetes, you are more vulnerable to foot problems because the disease can damage your nerves and reduce blood flow to your feet. The American Diabetes Association estimates that 1 in 5 people with diabetes who seek hospital care do so for foot problems.”

HOPE Research Institute is currently enrolling diabetic adults in a research study of an investigational treatment for diabetic foot ulcers. This study is being conducted in Phoenix, Arizona.

Qualified study participants will receive study supervision by a board-certified podiatrist, study-related tests and exams, as well as study treatment. Also, qualified participants will receive compensation for their time and travel.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Are you at least 18 years old?
  • Do you have diabetes?
  • Do you have at least one foot wound, located at or below the ankle?

If you answered yes to the previous questions, you may qualify to participate.
