Summary: The Impact of Functional Strain on Psychological and Familial Functioning and Access to Follow-up Care Among Asian American Breast Cancer Survivors
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are a breast cancer survivor, your name was provided by a breast cancer registry (the Los Angeles County Cancer Registry, Desert Sierra Registry, or City of Hope Cancer Registry), and 6 months to 3 years have passed since your diagnosis. The purpose of this study is to describe the breast cancer experience of Asian American breast cancer survivors and to examine the impact of job strain and family duties on depression, anxiety, family functioning, and use of follow-up cancer-related care. Your participation in this study is expected to last 60-90 minutes.
