Summary: Molecular Pathogenesis of Acute Leukemia and Myelodysplasia
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have previously untreated or relapsed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) or primary (non-treatment related) myelodysplastic syndrome. The purpose of this study is to understand how acute leukemias and myelodysplasia develop. These studies may help researchers understand how these malignancies develop and help develop new treatments for these disorders. Your participation in this study is for a one-time collection of bone marrow or blood sample. Information regarding your disease status will be collected from your medical records for a period of up to 5 years.
