Summary: Female Volunteers needed for irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) clinical trial

To qualify you must:

• Be female and between the age of 18 and 65
• Have been diagnosed with IBS
• Diarrhea-predominant or alternating diarrhea and constipation

Duration: Up to 6 visits up to 19 weeks

Qualified participants will receive all the following at no cost:

• Study Related:
  • Regularly scheduled appointments
  • Physical Exams
  • Investigational study medication
  • Colonoscopy (if needed)
  • Electrocardiograms (ECGs) – test that measures the electrical activity of the heart

Monetary Reimbursement of $40 per visit (if needed $100 for the colonoscopy) will be provided for time and travel expenses

All information provided by the subject during the course of this study will be treated confidentiality and will adhere to any applicable federal, state or local regulations
