Summary: Utilizing Studying, Evaluating BNP for Monitoring in Patients with Heart Failure

NYU Medical Center is participating in a North American research study sponsored by Siemens Medical Solutions Diagnostics to see if the use of a BNP blood test will help the doctor in the management of therapy for people with heart failure.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have heart failure

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Are pregnant or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have active cancer treatment
  • Are receiving experimental therapy in another research study
