Summary: Does your child have ADHD and are they negative, hostile, or defiant?
Symptoms of Oppositionality:
- Loses temper
- Blames others
- Argues with adults
- Easily annoyed
- Defies
- Angry and resentful
- Deliberately annoys people
- Spiteful or vindictive
If your child has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
(ADHD) or you think they may have ADHD and they also have symptoms
of oppositionality (for example, negativity, hostility, or
defiance), they may be eligible to participate in a clinical
research study.
Currently available is a study of non-stimulant, investigational
medication for the treatment of both ADHD and symptoms of
oppositionality.
We are seeking volunteers to participate in this clinical
research study who:
- Are between 6 and 12 years old
- Diagnosed with or display symptoms of ADHD, and
- Display some symptoms of oppositionality
If your child qualifies, he or she will receive at no cost:
- Investigational medication or placebo (like a sugar pill)
- Study related physical exams
- Study related office visits
Compensation may be offered.
