Our Clinical Trials operations provide laboratory services necessary to the sponsor and sites to ensure data is valid, reliable and delivered timely in the format requested.

Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, S.E.D. Medical Laboratories is a nationally recognized full-service medical and federally certified drugs-of-abuse testing laboratory. S.E.D. performs more than 7.5 million reportable tests annually and employs a staff of 500, handling more than a million patient encounters per year. S.E.D. operates from a modern 50,000 square-foot facility with state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge technology with 98 percent of all testing performed in-house. Since its beginning in 1972, S.E.D. has grown to serve thousands of customers in fifteen states.

Project Management

When you award your study to SED Labs, we assign a Project Manager as your "single point of contact." This person will be the liaison between you, the site, data management, laboratory operations and the clinical scientists. SED maintains a Client Services Department to handle inquires and service requests. The sites will have access to assistance 24 hours-a-day. SED has an administrator available 24 hours-a-day as well.

Data Management

S.E.D. Medical Laboratories can provide data delivery as stand-alone reports or electronically for import into SAS®, ORACLE®, Microsoft® Access/Excel or other programs. Common formats available:
