New England Institutional Review Board is an independent IRB providing ethical review of research projects involving human subjects. NEIRB was founded over fifteen years ago and is comprised of highly qualified members with significant experience and knowledge in the scientific, legal and ethical aspects of clinical trials.

NEIRB's review services include:

• Phase I, II and III clinical trials - single and multi-site studies

• Post-marketing studies
• Registry studies
• Device studies
• Behavioral and sociological research

NEIRB understands the importance of timely review. Our Board meets weekly. For multi-site trials, NEIRB's standard is to FedEx an approval letter to a prospective site with 24 hours of receipt of a completed site application form.

NEIRB has been audited several times by the Food and Drug Administration and found to be in compliance. In addition, NEIRB is one of the few central institutional review boards to be fully accredited by the Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protections Programs.
