    Asian Clinical Trials (ACT), a full spectrum Contract/ Clinical Research Organization, is part of Suven Life Sciences Limited (Suven). Suven, a pioneer in Contract Research Manufacturing Services (CRAMS) in India since 1995, is emerging as a Collaborative Research Partner (CRP) with its new business model- "Drug Discovery and Development Support Services" (DDDSS). Facility Description

    ACT is housed in a modern, well organized, and well appointed facility covering 9000 sq. ft. in a prime location of the Banjara Hills area in Hyderabad, India. Hyderabad is best known around the world as the "Silicon Valley" of India, home to several multi-national corporations, and is well connected by air, rail, and land both nationally and internationally.

 

Functional Capabilities

    • Bio-analytical services (HPLC, LC-MS/MS) for drug estimation in biological fluids
    • Clinical operations bound by SOPs based on ICH-GCP guidelines
    • Clinical data management (Oracle Clinical 4.5)
    • Statistics (SAS)

    Oracle Clinical 4.5 software facilitates Remote Data Entry to the system from individual study sites. Thesaurus Management System for classifying investigator terms against medical dictionaries, and the Adverse Event Reporting System for managing product safety, and SAS for both simple and complex statistical analysis.

 

Investigator Experience

    The investigators are English speaking, ICH-GCP trained, and experienced in conducting international clinical trials. They are leading practitioners with very active and extensive practices.

    Population in India offers a wide range of disease conditions, an abundance of treatment naive patients, and treatment compliant. English is the predominant language of the urban Indian population, and as such language is not a barrier for the running of multi-national trials.
