Center Overview
Careers In Research, Inc. (CIR) is a study recruitment organization that links sponsors and CROs with qualified investigational sites. The company was founded in 1999 to meet a growing demand for clinical research studies to be conducted rapidly, efficiently and in accordance with company protocol and federal regulations. We help Pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies get their products to market faster. Period.
CIR team members are trained in high-quality trial conduct and receive ongoing education in emerging markets, industry trends and the Code of Federal Regulations. Expertise in patient recruitment and study execution with a meticulous attention to data collection provides our clients with quality outcomes within compressed timelines.
Our focus is outcome - facilitating the efficient conduct of clinical trials, including budget/contracts, regulatory document collection/submission, and managing small-scale trials like a CRO. Our services may be tailored to meet the needs of even the most demanding sponsor. Investigators call often to participate in our clinical trials.
We are ideally suited for most Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials for the development of prescription and OTC drugs and medical devices. Investigators can be provided for both outpatient and hospital based inpatient studies.

Facility Description
Our organization consists of a team of professionals experienced in basic science and clinical investigators in academic, hospital and outpatient environments. We profile both sponsor and investigative sites in order to establish a corporate culture of partnerships working toward a common goal.
CIR corporate office is conveniently located near North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park. The population of over 1 million consists of healthy college students, your professionals and active retirees. Our communities range from densely populated cities, such as Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill to rural communities such as Smithfield, Benson, and Goldsboro.
The diversity of environment and patient pools plays a major role in the success of patient recruitment and retention at our many sites. New investigators continue to call on us to place research trials at their facilities.
