BHC Alhambra is a center offering a variety of outpatient and inpatient services for psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders. Behavioral health is unlike any other branch of medicine. Operating only for this area of medicine allows us to have organizational focus on the most appropriate clinical, technical, ethical and physical environment for this special needs population. This undistracted focus aids in our treatment as well as enabling high quality research conducted in the highest ethical manner.

BHC Alhambra is an 85 bed acute psychiatric hospital. Research is done on a full time basis. Through participation in study some of our patients with long term illnesses have experienced stabilization of symptoms and reported fewer side effects. The center is also equipped to facilitate child and adolescent studies.
