Women's Health Research (WHR) was established in 1998 to provide resources and expertise for the evaluation of pharmaceuticals and medical devices related to women’s health. WHR is dedicated to the ethical performance of clinical research studies. Using good clinical practice guidelines, our organization is driven to complete studies in a timely, ethical, and efficient manner. Patient care is our primary focus with a strong commitment to education and advancement of knowledge. To this day, WHR remains committed exclusively to advancing research in women’s health.
Micah S. Harris, M.D., Medical Director, has been dedicated to providing women with the highest level of medical care for over 11 years. Throughout this time, Dr. Harris and his associates have made quality clinical research a part of their practice. His integrity and compassionate care has earned him the respect of patients, staff, and his fellow physicians.

Clinical Research Experience
Women's Health Research affords sponsors exposure to clinical investigators with more than 15 years of combined clinical
research experience, along with a staff of certified, professional study coordinators. Our strict adherence to study
protocols is exemplary. Women’s Health Research has a proven track record of rapid enrollment, treatment and patient
compliance. Women's Health Research conducts Phase II-IV drug and device trials.

Facility Description
Women's Health Research is uniquely situated at the forefront of clinical research in one of the nation’s fastest growing cities. Our central location is easily accessible to public transportation, freeways, and the Phoenix International airport. We are located in a medical office complex adjacent to a 270+ bed community hospital. Our research center consists of 6,000 sq. ft. of clinical space with an additional 3,000 sq. ft. of administrative space. Our clinical practice services over 30,000 patients. We have both an in-office surgical suite and a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical facility on campus. Procedures available at our center include fetal monitoring, ultrasonography, saline infusion sonohysterography, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, hysteroscopy, sterilization procedures, laparoscopy, and LEEP procedures.

Micah S. Harris, M.D.
Medical Director & Principal Investigator
Micah Harris, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., has been conducting clinical research trials for over 11 years. In 1998, he and the late Dr. Jay Cooper, opened the first clinical research facility, Women's Health Research, in Arizona designed for the evaluation of new medications and medical/surgical devices for the advancement of women’s healthcare.
Dr. Harris is a board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and holds a medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Harris’ research as been published in both the Journal of Reproductive Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology and he has served as investigator for over 100 clinical trials.
Shelly Renee Crosson P.A.-C
Investigator
Since joining Women's Health Research in late 2007, Shelly has participated in over 8 clinical trials. Shelly is well versed in ICH guidelines and Good Clinical Practice. She holds a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and is a board certified P.A. and received her undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences, at Arizona State University.
