Suburban Research Associates (SRA) is an investigative site specializing in psychiatric clinical trials. SRA is a private research site with a small outpatient practice.. Suburban Research Associates is conveniently located in the suburbs of Philadelphia with easy access by car or public transportation.

Suburban Research Associates has been conducting clinical trials since 1999. Our patient population comes from referrals from our private practice, community liaison, physician network, well established advertising sources, as well as an open-minded community and local schools. We have had success recruiting adults as well as the child and adolescent population.

Trial participants come from Dr. Hatti's private outpatients as well as community inquiries from advertisements in our local media. We also have referrals from currently enrolled patients who have been happy with their care.

Suburban Research Associates office is equipped with the following: secure drug storage cabinetry, venipuncture capabilities, a centrifuge, -20° F freezer, ECG machines, two examination tables and comfortable area for monitoring visits. SRA is located in Media, PA in Delaware County on the outskirts of Philadelphia. We can be reached by I-95, Rte. 476 or by public transportation. SRA employs three board certified psychiatrists.

• Shivkumar Hatti, MD is a board certified adult psychiatrist since 1981 and also received his MBA from Saint Joseph's University in 1997. Currently Dr. Hatti treats patients in our private practice and clinical trials. Dr. Hatti has been Principal Investigator for over 50 trials and has expertise in conducting most psychiatric trial rating scales.
• Veena Luthra, MD is a board certified adult and child psychiatrist and has been conducting clinical trials for the last six years. Dr. Luthra has been Principal Investigator for over 20 trials and has experience with conducting most child and adult rating scales.
• Lauren Katz,MD, is a board certified adult psychiatrist and has been conducting clinical trials for the last six years. Dr. Katz has been trained on GCP and ICH guidelines and has been certified to rate for all adult psychiatric trials.

• SRA has four clinical research coordinators that are able to conduct the clinical trials from study start up to study close out. All staff have been trained on GCP, Hazardous Material Shipment and Phlebotomy.
• Amy DeWerth-Pallmeyer, Site Manager, Rater and Study Coordinator has been conducting clinical trials at SRA since 2002 and has a M.Ed. in Guidance Counseling. Any questions concerning staff inquires can be directed to adpallmeyer@suburbanresearch.com or by calling 610.891.9024 ext. 102.
