Radiant Research - Tacoma was founded in 1995 as Puget Sound Medical Research. The center is housed in a 5,000 square foot dedicated research facility located on the second floor of a two-story building. The facility is three miles from the closest hospital and across the street from a three-story physicians’ office building. The site has a large capacity area for monitor visits with individual desks. Also, there is a dial up phone line for the monitors to use for their computers to replicate to receive information and e-mail. Two copiers are available for the monitors to use. The site has DSL and access to the Internet for e-mail from sponsors and monitors to the site personnel.

The center employs research services of investigators board certified in Allergy Psychiatry, Rheumatology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine.

The center employs five highly qualified clinical research coordinators with a total of over 28 years of combined experience in clinical trials. Their certifications include LPN and CCRC. The coordinators are experienced in RDE.
