Radiant Research | Kansas City originated from the University of Kansas Medical Center Lipid and Arteriosclerosis Prevention Clinic, where Dr. Carlos Dujovne managed clinical research trials for 25 years. In 1997 Dr. Dujovne and his professional staff relocated their clinic to the Overland Park Regional Medical Center Campus in suburban Kansas City. Today Radiant Research ¦ Kansas City is located in Overland Park at the Cloverleaf buildings where Shawnee Mission Parkway and Metcalf intersect. The site has immediate access to fully operational multi-specialty settings, complete with state-of-the-art equipment, trained technicians, and health professionals who collaborate with the site.

Carlos Petit, MD, Principal Investigator, is a board certified Surgeon. He received his medical degree at Cordoba University Medical School in Cordoba, Argentina. Dr. Petit has performed numerous clinical trials in the following areas: allergic rhinitis, acne, asthma, contraception, COPD, crohn’s disease, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, GERD, hot flashes, hypertension, hypogonadism, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, lipids, obesity, osteoarthritis, parkinson’s disease, post menopausal, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, and vaccines.

Michael Haag, MD is Board Certified in Dermatology. Dr. Haag received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He completed his residency in dermatology at the University of South Florida. He maintains an active practice and has presented and published on numerous topics. Dr. Haag has conducted studies in a variety of areas including: acne vulgaris, psoriasis, onychomycosis, and tinea pedis.

R. Hal Younglove, MD, Principal Investigator, is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Younglove received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He has published and performed numerous clinical trials in the following areas: heavy menstrual bleeding, menorrhagia, vaginal atrophy, and vulvovaginal atrophy.

Kathy Kinder, MD is an investigator on most clinical trials at Radiant Research in Kansas City. She completed her medical degree from the University of Kanasas School of Medicine. She completed her residency at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Kinder is board certified in Internal and Palliative Medicine. While at Radiant Research, she has been involved in research studies in a variety of therapeutic areas such as obesity, dyslipidemia, osteoarthritis, psoriasis, sexual dysfunction, vaginal atrophy, and vaccine efficacy.

The center employs research services of investigators specializing in Dermatology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Psychiatry and Pediatrics.

The Kansas City site is staffed with six highly trained and experienced clinical research coordinators. They have an average of 15 years clinical experience. The study management team consists of a regulatory document specialist, two part-time participant recruitment specialists, a research office administrator and a site director.
