Radiant Research - Columbus opened its doors in 1990. The site occupies 1,575 square feet of dedicated research facility conveniently located in close proximity to Ohio State University and minutes from downtown Columbus. The Medical Director has moved his private practice directly adjacent to the facility.

Douglas Schumacher, MD, Medical Director, has conducted over 400 clinical trials since 1992. He is board certified in Family Medicine, and his areas of specialty include hypertension, diabetes mellitus, migraine, coronary artery disease, osteoarthritis, and upper respiratory disease. Dr. Schumacher’s private practice is adjacent to the research clinic.

The center also employs research services of investigators specializing in Family Practice, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, and Rheumatology.

Clinical Research Coordinators:

The center employs five highly qualified clinical research coordinators, each with an average of ten years experience in pharmaceutical research. These clinical research coordinators have backgrounds in nursing and biology. All study coordinators hold CCRC or CCRA certifications.
