Since 1998, Florida Medical Research Institute (FLMRI) has been conducting clinical trials in Gainesville, Florida in a number of therapeutic areas. FLMRI offers sponsors an affiliation with thirty-two physicians and their 30,000+ patients within their network along with relationships with neighboring large hospitals and the surrounding community to provide Phase I through IV clinical trials.

Our research site, located in Gainesville, Florida, is 5 minutes from Interstate 75 and 15 minutes from the Gainesville Regional Airport. Our office includes sufficient space for monitoring and meetings, a full laboratory, and secure storage areas. Drug security includes double-key entry and restricted access.

Research coordinators have backgrounds in nursing, pharmacy, and medical technology. All staff members participate in a comprehensive initial and ongoing training program.

FLMRI maintains a database of over 20,000 volunteers. Over 480,000 people live in the areas surrounding the research site along with 40,000 students attending the nearby University of Florida.
