A private practice group with two decades of experience in conducting clinical trials. Private practice patients are offered an opportunity to participate in trials and, therefore have the ability to have access to the newest modalities of treatment. Research patients who enter the practice through the trials have the ability to be followed in the private practice following the completion of the trial. The private practice and clinical research compliments each other.

The Principal Investigator, I. Kolin, M.D., has been involved in clinical trials since 1966. The center conducts phase II, III, IIIB, and IV studies. The center conducts studies in Mood Disorders, Major Depressive, Bipolar Disorder, Dysthymia, Mixed Anxiety/Depressive Disorders, Major Depression with Psychoses, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Geriatric Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, ADHD, Migraine Headaches, Alzheimer's Disease, and Smoking Cessation.

Patients are drawn from Central Florida. The patients may come from low, middle, and upper socioeconomic areas and studies have included al ethnic groups and all ages from six to geriatrics.

The center uses a central IRB for outpatient studies. We have the computer capacity to work in an RDE system.
