For over 50 years, Mobile Ob-Gyn, P.C. has served as a private, full-service obstetrical and gynecological practice in historic Mobile, Alabama. We have 6 board-certified physicians and 1 board-eligible physician, all having completed training in The Protection of Human Research Subjects. One Investigator holds a certification in clinical research (CPI). Our practice maintains an active database of approximately 30,000 patients easily accessible through our Electronic Medical/Health Records system.

Our office complex is situated on a 250 acre campus adjacent to Providence Hospital, only 2.7 miles from the Mobile Airport and minutes from Mobile Bay. Several hotels with numerous amenities provide on-site lodging. There are alternative lodging facilities and numerous restaurants in close proximity.

Our dedicated research department has been conducting investigational medication and device trials since 2004 and is staffed with 3 nurse/coordinators.

By diversifying and enhancing services to include clinical research in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry, we maintain the best possible healthcare options for our patients.

Areas of trial experience and interest are gynecology and women's health including but not limited to:

urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, osteoporosis, endometriosis, menopause, hormone replacement, female sexual dysfunction, birth control, menorrhagia, HPV, PMD, PMDD,  weight control, lipid control, breast disease and HPV.

Our modern medical facility houses diagnostic departments including ultrasonography, mammography, bone densitometry, laboratory testing and advanced bladder testing (urodynamics). We are in close proximity to Providence Hospital and accessible to additional outpatient facilities.

1 year of clinical research experience and 8 years of nursing and women's health.

Betty Sue Schryver, RN:
25 years of nursing and women's health experience and less than 1 year of clinical research experience.
15 years as a practicing Women's Health Care CRNP (inactive status).

We are a private group practice specializing in obstetrics, gynecology and women's health. We have an active database of 30,000 mixed demographic patients and approximately 19,000 patient visits per year.

Preferred central IRB's

The practice is fully EMR (electronic medical/health records) with easy access to patient databases.
