Women's Health Research Center, LLC is a dedicated investigation site devoted to promoting advances in women's health. Since 1998 it has worked in conjunction with Delaware Valley Ob/Gyn & Infertility Group, PC, one of the largest providers of women's healthcare in Central New Jersey to offer cutting edge therapeutic opportunities.

Our site has conducted studies for Rhone-Poulenc, Ortho-McNeil, Johnson & Johnson, Bayer, Luitpold, Novo-Nordisk, Duramed, Organon, Berlex, Warner-Chilcot, Wyeth-Ayrst, Xanodyne, Symbollon, and Church & Dwight. We have worked with such CROs as Covance and Pharmaseek.

Projects have included evaluations of estrogen/progesterone patches and other hormonal replacement therapy , progestational agents, oral contraceptives, vaginal antifungals and diagnostic devices, post-operative pain relief medications, urinary pregnancy kits, home semen analysis kits, vaginal contraceptive devices, antibiotic’s impact on semen, breast pain, endometriosis and osteoporosis medications.

We are prepared to conduct studies on any aspect of obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology, reproductive endocrinology, infertility, and sexual dysfunction. In addition we have the capability to investigate any medication requiring a female population (obesity, hypertension etc.)

Members of our staff have been conducting research projects since 1983.

Our state of the art facilities allows for 24 hour interaction with study subjects and secure drug storage. The center is capable of performing both outpatient and in hospital studies. We have an invitro fertilization lab (IVF) on the premises and perform ultrasound, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsies, ECG, urodynamic testing and other office based procedures on site. Mammography and DEXA scanning are located nearby. . In addition to our staff of board certified obstetrician/gynecologists, reproductive endocrinologists, and certified nurse midwives we employ embryologist s and andrologists.

Our main office is in Lawrenceville, New Jersey a suburb of Trenton and Princeton. We are located sixty minutes from NYC and forty minutes from Philadelphia.We are easily accessible to Newark’s Liberty International Airport (45 minutes,) Philadelphia International Airport (45 minutes) or the Trenton-Mercer Airport (10 minutes) all on Interstate Route 95.

-Scott Evan Eder, MS, MD, FACOG, CPI is the PI and has been conducting clinical trials since 1983.

-There are eight board certified gynecologists who serve as sub-investigators, two of whom are additionally boarded in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Three certified nurse midwives and an andrologist and embryologist complete our staff. All physicians have participated in previous women's health research. Our coordinators are trained in GCP and have extensive experience in remote data entry.

We have a patient database of over 50,000 female patients ranging in age from 12-99. Our population includes Caucasians, Afro-Americans, Hispanics, and a sizeable Asian contingent.

Subjects are also recruited via referrals and advertising in Central New Jersey, one of the most densly populated regions of the United States.

Our site uses central IRBs.
