Our Cardiac & Cancer research nurses work with Board Certified Cardiologists & Internal Medicine physicians as well as Board Certified Hematologist/Oncologists. The Cardiovascular Research team has worked with sponsors, such as Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Organon, Merck, Reliant, Proctor & Gamble, Otsuka, Aventis, Eli Lilly, Covalent, deCode Genetics, NitroMed, & Gilead. We have conducted ACS/IVUS trials, CAD, CHF, DVT, Hyperlipidemia, Hypertension and Electrophysiology as well as many other related areas.

Broward Health’s Adult Cancer research program is affiliated with H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center & Research Institute. The Children's & Adult Cancer research teams work with both sponsored trials and cooperative groups, such as Children's Oncology Group (COG), Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG), GSK, Amgen, Sanofi-Aventis, Wyeth, Abbott & Imclone.

Broward General Medical Center is a full-service hospital with in-house research teams. Our facility offers full service cardiac and cancer treatment care.
