Inpatient. St Mary’s is a 200-bed acute care hospital with a major emphasis on behavioral health care including an inpatient unit, an outpatient facility, extensive community psychiatric outreach services, a 24-hour Crisis Hotline, and psychiatric residential services. In addition to Dr. Kent’s leadership, Sub-Investigators Dr. Joel Federbush, Dr. Martha Filliti, and MariPat Alger-Cattone, APN, bring many years of experience diagnosing and treating schizophrenia and severe mood disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Outpatient. The CNS Center in Passaic (New Jersey), currently Kenilworth, is a well-equipped facility, providing examination rooms; double-locking, limited-access medication storage (room temperature, refrigerated and -20 degrees); draw/processing laboratory with dedicated sample storage units (room temperature, refrigerated, -20 degrees); ECG equipment; access to radiology facilities (X-ray, MRI, CT); emergency protocols (crash cart, local ER facilities); and high-speed Internet access to support Electronic Data Capture activities. Patients and monitors will also benefit from the Center’s convenient location (near Newark Liberty Airport and the Garden State Parkway) and dedicated monitor space with Internet connectivity.
