San Diego State University Student Health Services (SDSU SHS) is a comprehensive accredited ambulatory care center with over 20 years of experience conducting clinical trials. SDSU has an enrollment of over 32,000 students from a diverse cultural background and age range. Student Health Services accommodates an average of 250 patient visits per day.

All SHS physicians are board certified and include family practitioners, internists, preventive medicine specialists, a psychiatrist, a dermatologist, and 9 certified nurse practitioners. We have a full-time certified clinical research coordinator who works closely with the Director of Clinical Trials to efficiently manage studies.

We are located adjacent to a major freeway in Mission Valley, 12 miles from San Diego International Airport in sunny Southern California.

SDSU has been conducting phase III-IV clinical trials for over 20 years in the following areas: Bacterial Vaginosis, Binge Eating, Cervical Dysplasia, Chlamydia, Herpes, Yeast Vaginitis, Contraception, Urethritis, Bronchitis, Otitis, PID, Pneumonia, Sinusitis, Skin Infection, Strep Pharyngitis, Traveler's Diarrhea, UTI, Vaccines (Hepatitis and HSV) and Diagnostic (Flu and HSV).
