Arkansas Urology is the largest group of private-practice urologists in the state and the first to bring new, proven medical technology and surgical techniques to Arkansas. Approximately 60,000 patients visit our facility each year. The research department consists of a full-time dedicated staff with an established positive reputation within the industry.

Clinical Research Experience
The Arkansas Urology research department has over 8 years of hands-on experience with pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. They have demonstrated success in urological-based research studies for prostate cancer, prostate cancer prevention, premature ejaculation, erectile dysfunction, prostatitis, urinary tract infections, incontinence, bladder cancer and BPH.
Arkansas Urology has worked closely with many pharmaceutical companies including Abbott, ALZA, Amgen, Barr, Bayer, GSK, GTX, Indevus, Johnson & Johnson, Lilly, Novartis, Ortho-McNeil, Pfizer and TAP.

Facility Description
Our new 38,000 square foot medical office building is conveniently located in West Little Rock and is easily accessible from the Little Rock National Airport.
Equipment:
On-site secure room temperature and refrigerated drug storage, 16-slice CT scanner, x-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, on-site radiologist, bone density, non-invasive BPH therapies, complete urodynamics suite, ECG, full service laboratory, pathology lab with on-site pathologist, -20 freezer, spacious CRA monitoring room complete with phone and computer access ports, outpatient procedure area with anesthesia provided by CRNAs

Investigator Experience
Richard E. D’Anna, MD (Principal Investigator)
Dr. D’Anna oversees the majority of the research studies conducted at Arkansas Urology. He is certified by the American Board of Urology in adult and pediatric urology. Dr. J. Walt Stallings has served as principal investigator on several studies and remains a sub-investigator.
