The Millennium Pain Center is a multidisciplinary clinic that is dedicated to treating patients with chronic pain conditions through compassion and innovation. Our team of clinical and research experts are very well qualified to extending the treatment of patients through productive and cutting edge clinical research.

Clinical Research Experience
Our center has been involved in clinical research for 4 years. We are currently involved in clinical trials with both device and pharmaceutical companies and are interested in CRO collaboration.
Our center is well qualified for the following therapeutic areas:
- Low Back Pain
- Neck Pain
- Neuropathic Pain Conditions
- Postherpetic Neuralgia
- Fibromyalgia
- Osteoarthritis
- Degenerative Disc Disease
- Diabetic Neuropathy

Conditions associated with chronic pain including but not limited to:
- Insomnia
- Constipation (chronic opioid use)

Facility Description
The Millennium Pain Center pain management facilities are fully housed in one location. Our facility offers clinic areas for patient enrollment as well as two procedure suits with fluoroscopic imaging. Imaging technology is available including MRI, CT and X-ray on site. We offer outpatient pain management capabilities with a recovery area for minimally invasive procedures. We collaborate with a team of therapists and psychologist on site as well. Finally, we have dedicated research areas for blood work and private patient examination room(s) for those involved in research studies.

Patient Demographics
Our patient population covers most of central and southern Illinois with East-West boundaries stretching from Indiana to Iowa, and North-South boundaries stretching from Chicago to the Southernmost point of Illinois.

Other Information
Our research staff has experience in utilizing both local and central IRBs for clinical research. Turn around averages 1-2 weeks depending upon submission timing. Our local IRB meets once per month. Our physicians have privileges at both BroMenn Medical Center and St. Joseph Medical Center in the Bloomington-Normal area for outpatient studies that require surgical suites.
Currently, members of our research team have adjunct academic appointments at Illinois State University, the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
