York Clinical Consulting is a Clinical Research Group (CRG) which specializes in women’s health clinical trials. Our facility provides a thorough communication system that enhances the performance of clinical trials. Our goal is to conduct clinical trials that are safe, effective and accurate. We understand that our study participants are our most valuable asset and participant’s satisfaction is a top priority. Since opening its doors in August 2003, York Clinical Consulting is constantly making wonderful strides for women in the clinical trial industry.

In order to meet or exceed patient recruitment, and for fine tuned accuracy and organization, we focus our attention on only a few studies at one time. All of our physicians are board certified and are committed to helping us maintain patient retention and follow-up, as well as provide hands-on and compassionate care. As a result of our loyal commitment, we attain a 90% participant’s retention rate. Each study participant gains the personal satisfaction of knowing that they are contributing to their own health and the health of women for generations to come.

Since hurricane Katrina in 2005, we now have two locations. Both facilities provide a comprehensive infrastructure for the performance of outpatient clinical trials. This includes budgeting and contracting, regulatory submissions, training and support to principal investigators and clinical research coordinators.

We have successfully created a comfortable ambiance for our participants to come relax and enjoy the experience. We make it our responsibility to accommodate our study monitors with a beautiful and comfortable workspace, DSL access, dedicated phone line and easy access to the airport. We also have established a working relationship with 4 area Hotels for the monitor to stay and receive York Clinical Consulting corporate rates.

York Clinical Consulting services over 5,000 study participants annually. Currently our participant leads are generated through print, radio and television advertisements. Our target audience consists primarily of women of all ages and ethnic background. We are presently developing a marketing plan that will enable us to form alliances in the community that will assist us with educating women on various health issues and the importance of research. Our goal is to market to the entire New Orleans metropolitan and suburban areas.

When given a choice, we prefer to use our own local Crescent City IRB because it functions as both a local and central IRB and, more importantly, meet as frequently as necessary to provide investigators with prompt reviews. However, we are also happy to facilitate Central IRB requests from Sponsor Companies.
