Southeastern Research Group, Inc., is a clinical trials management organization. We represent an alliance of private practice physicians conducting trials in multiple specialties. We offer full-service clinical trials management providing high quality services across Phases II – IV drug and device trials. With our headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida and operations throughout the region, we coordinate and manage clinical studies with well-qualified investigators both on-site and at private practice centers. We employ an experienced team of researchers dedicated to providing rapid enrollment, accurate data collection, compliance to regulatory requirements, and complete confidentiality.
Our three-fold mission is:

Clinical Research Experience
Founded in 1998, Southeastern Research Group, Inc. has extensive experience conducting Phase II-IV trials. We have particular experience in the areas of Endocrinology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Urology, and General Practice Medicine. We pride ourselves in providing rapid enrollment and cost-efficient clinical trials. We have successfully completed trials for many of the major pharmaceutical companies worldwide.

Facility Description
Southeastern Research Group’s offices are located in a 32,000 square-foot purpose-built facility. The on-site services include access to 25 exam rooms, laboratory facilities, and medical imaging including radiology & CT scan services. We have an attached ambulatory surgical center with surgical suites to accommodate most medical specialties including specific capabilities for urological procedures. We provide exam rooms and offices dedicated specifically to research study conduct with secured areas for storage of study drugs, supplies, and archives.

Investigator Experience
Southeastern Research Group principal and sub-investigators include:
- Robert S. Bradford, MD; a board certified urologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has been involved in clinical research
as a principal and sub-investigator since 1998.
- Joseph L. Camps, Jr., MD; a board certified urologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has been involved in clinical research
as a principal and sub-investigator since 1995.
- Raleigh W. Rollins, MD; a board certified urologist and fellow of the American College of Surgeons who has been involved in clinical research
as a principal and sub-investigator since 1992.
- William P. Sawyer, MD; a board certified urologist and fellow of the
American College of Surgeons who has been involved in clinical research
as a principal and sub-investigator since 1992.
- Scott B. Sellinger, MD; a board certified urologist and fellow of the
American College of Surgeons who has been involved in clinical research
as a principal and sub-investigator since 1992.
- Thomas G. Serio, MD; a board certified family practitioner who was
previously involved in clinical research and has been a part of
Southeastern Research Group since 2005 with interests in hypertension
and diabetes as well as other therapeutic areas.

Staff Expertise
Our staff and investigators have been successfully conducting drug and device trials since 1985 and have a combined experience of over 80 years in the industry.
- Ronald Norton, BSc, Director of Research,brings over 20 years of experience in the industry at both Pharmaceuticals Companies and Contract Research Organizations. His leadership was instrumental in successful business and drug development projects at Glaxo Wellcome and MDS Pharma Services. His focus and experience are in Phase I – IV clinical trials, pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism, and pharmacogenetics as well as personnel, operational, and financial management. In past roles with Glaxo Wellcome and MDS Pharma Services, he was responsible for the oversight of over 200 clinical trials across a variety of therapeutic areas.
- Mary Anne Taylor, LPN, Study Coordinator, has worked in clinical research since 1989 at the University of Miami, Synergy, and Radiant Research where she has conducted studies in multiple medical specialties.
- Stacey Nelson, MA,
Study Coordinato, has been with SERG and Southeastern Urological Center since 2002 and has previous experience in cardiology and urology.
- Susan M. Green, Regulatory Specialist/Administrative Assistant, has a background as a professional legal assistant and medical transcriptionist. She has over 6 years of research administration experience and has been with Southeastern Urological Center since 1989.

Patient Demographics
Southeastern Research Group is affiliated with 2 private practices, Southeastern Urological Center and Tallahassee Primary Care Associates, which provides a broad range of patient demographics. We conduct studies with male and female adults of varying ages and ethnic backgrounds including Caucasian, African American, and Hispanic. Tallahassee is the capital of Florida and boasts 2 major hospitals, 3 universities, and a large and diverse medical community. Southeastern Research Group, Southeastern Urological Center, and Tallahassee Primary Care Associates are centrally located within 2 miles of both hospitals and within a few blocks of each other’s offices.
