Center Overview
Physicians Research Group is an independent clinical research organization conducting clinical trials for pharmaceutical developers around the globe. Our founder, Dr. Rashid A. Khairi, began conducting clinical investigations in 1971 as a member of the faculty of the Indiana University School of Medicine. In 1988, he recognized the need for developing a professional, dedicated staff for the conduct of clinical trials and Physicians Research Group was born!
As an independent clinical research group, we are able to combine our talents in conducting clinical research with the expertise and clinical population of a host of physicians around the city who serve as investigators. We currently partner with more than 40 practicing physicians.

Facility Description
Because we recognize we are dealing with volunteers, Physicians Research Group makes every attempt to accommodate the procedures required by each research protocol in house. To this end, we are equipped with two examination rooms, a cardiac procedure room with treadmill and other diagnostic equipment. We also have full x-ray facilities and Lunar bone mineral density testing equipment. Phlebotomy is performed in our office and additional laboratory facilities are available through an independent laboratory on site. Our examination rooms are equipped for a number of procedures including gynecological examinations and simple biopsies. Finally, we offer a fully equipped surgery center.
Located less than one mile from Community Hospital North, we also have access to a very large medical services community if additional procedures are required.
