Delaware Research Center is a long term commitment to research by a long established, Wilmington private practice. The Center is an outgrowth of Family Practice Associates, PA, a large community based, private practice, established in 1941, with four physicians. The Center has a full time clinical research coordinator.

Outpatient, 1200 square foot modern clinical research facility, which is located adjacent to a flourishing private practice of five physicians and a NP/CDE. This recently renovated facility has 1 exam room, 1 consultation room, -20 freezer, centrifuge, phlebotomy, locked storage space and modern office equipment. This clinical research site consists of 3 board certified physicians and 1 registered nurse.

Investigator Experience
All of our investigators are board certified in Family Medicine and have full staff privileges at a major teaching hospital. Our nurse practitioner is a Certified Diabetes Educator.
David M. Krasner, D.O., FAAFP, Delaware Research Center - Chief Medical Officer - has been a primary investigator for numerous clinical trials over the past eight years that include the broad based scope of primary care. He completed his family practice residency at Temple University, is board certified in family medicine, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Patient Demographics
This site draws from several private practices and is currently developing an independent patient database. The patient population is predominantly (60%) African-American, with 40% of patient population at least 60 years old; two-thirds is female.
