Center Overview

Springfield Neurology Associate's clinical research site specializes in quality, outpatient, phase II-IV neurology trials. We support sponsors by providing fast start-up, timely patient recruitment and quality data with strict adherence to GCP/ICH guidelines. The site is easily accessible to patients in the surrounding Massachusetts and Connecticut communities with a population of over 457,000.

Springfield Neurology Associate's main goal is patient care, which is why we offer a variety of services. Our patients receive the best care, therapies and education for the conditions in which they are treated. This includes on-site patient education, psychiatric and neuropsychological testing, in addition to our clinical research opportunities.

Clinical Research Experience

Our experiences include Epilepsy, Migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Restless Leg Syndrome, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and Parkinson's Disease.

We are also able to conduct trials in Alzheimer Disease/Dementia, Mild Cognitive Impairment, Neuropathy, Acute & Chronic Pain, Fibromyalgia, Insomnia, & Psychiatric Disorders.

Facility Description

Equipment at our site includes: centrifuge, -30°F locked freezer, locked refrigerator, interpretive ECG machine, EEG equipment and testing, EMG equipment and testing and crash cart.

Dedicated Research Space:
Research examination room, double-locked drug storage with temperature control (secure with limited access), laboratory area for venipuncture, testing and processing, conference area, study document storage (secure with limited access), and monitor area with telephone, copier, fax, and internet connection.

Off-Site Capabilities:

  • Local laboratory- experienced in research and CLIA certified
  • Radiology- X-ray, MRI, MRA, & CT scan
