Borland-Groover Clinic has a dedicated multispecialty research department serving over 40 investigators. Qualified individuals are located within the specialists offices to assist our investigators with implementation of trials.
Our goal is to position our Clinic to offer cutting edge technology in medical services and partner with pharmaceutical organizations to participate in bringing the highest quality, most thoroughly researched medical products to market.
Our network of physicians has expertise in the following areas:

Jacksonville is a large metropolitan city with a census of over one million with a diversity of suburban, urban, and rural populations.
Our dedicated research space comprises 1500 square feet, contains a CLIA waived laboratory, a minus 70 freezer, secured refrigerators, centrifuge, secured drug storage, monitor area, IV Infusion area, and patient exam rooms. We are conveniently located one block from I-95 interstate with ample accommodations within walking distance of our clinic.
Our clinical investigators have extensively published on advances in clinical medicine and have been instrumental in the development of new endoscopic and surgical techniques. The clinic offers a unique population of patients not routinely found through academic centers. We are able to implement Phase II-IV clinical trials.

Laura Hester, CCRP is acting Director of Clinical Research. She is highly qualified and experienced in Clinical Research.
Sara Benner, R.N., CCRC has 10 years of research experience in cardiology, plastic surgery and gastroenterology.
Robin Toton, R.N. has worked as a research coordinator for Borland-Groover Clinic for over a year and has four years of Gastroenterology experience.
Jackie Hazelip, R.N. has 2 years experience in clinical research with a background in pulmonary medicine and gastroenterology.
Kellanie Anderson is our Research Assistant and has been with Borland-Groover for two years.
