Physicians Research Center is a multi-specialty research group located in central New Jersey. Our goals are to achieve rapid enrollment, meet or exceed our enrollment quota and produce quality results to minimize data resolution problems.

Our center has been doing clinical research for 14 years.

Our personnel include board-certified physicians experienced in clinical trials. We employ investigators certified in internal medicine, and most sub-specialties including but not limited to: cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, nephrology, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, radiology and rheumatology. We have 3 full time coordinators and 1 part-time study assistant.

The team at Physicians Research Center has worked with the following pharmaceutical companies and clinical research organizations: Abbott, Aventis, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Johnson and Johnson, Merck, Novarits, Wyeth, Covance, ICON, PPD and Paragon.

Our center has the capability of performing both inpatient and outpatient trials. We offer an observation room with patient amenities for lengthy visits. We have infusion and EKG capabilities.

The site has a full capability lab with phlebotomists, - 20 degree freezer, centrifuge, dry ice capability. All staff members are OSHA and Safe T-Pak trained and certified. A certified medical technologist oversees all laboratory related activities.

We contract with a radiology practice for all trials.

We have resuscitation equipment and the center is located less than one mile to the nearest hospital.

The team is IVRS and electronic data capture (EDC) fluent.

The site includes 4 telephone lines, dedicated fax line and high speed internet access through DSL. There is a designated area for visiting CRAs.

Physicians Research Center is in close proximity to New York City and Philadelphia. We are located 1 miles from the Garden State Parkway (GSP). Public transportation is available to the center.

Henry J. Simon is a clinical investigator board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Simon has been a Principal Investigator in close to 100 trials since the founding of Physicians Research Center in 1993. His experience includes research in diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, constipation, surgical blood loss, rheumatoid arthritis, pneumonia and pain control. Dr Simon is a speaker for several major pharmaceutical companies and a member of their advisory boards. He oversees clinical trials with multiple sub-investigators and has enrolled as many as 300 subjects in several large trials. He works with a number of board certified specialists including endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, rheumatologists and orthopedists.

Our site has the ability to eliminate red tape concerning budget matters and IRB approvals. We use a central IRB for all outpatient studies.

We give a quick and accurate assessment when evaluating a potential trial.

Physicians Research Center is also known for prompt completion of case report forms and we have received many incentive awards for generating the fewest number of queries in protocols we have completed.

We have also received many incentive awards for meeting screening and enrollment quotas.
