Center Overview

Founded in 2003, Tucson Clinical Research is a physician owned dedicated research organization specializing in conducting Phase II-IV pharmaceutical and device clinical trials. At Tucson Clinical Research we are determined to raise the bar for quality, diversity and accuracy of clinical trials. Through the network of investigators/owners and their active patient base, it is our mission to assist our pharmaceutical sponsors in bringing the highest quality, most thoroughly researched medical products to market.

Facility Description

Tucson Clinical Research's central office is located in the center of Tucson and is housed in a 3000 square foot free standing facility with ample parking, access to public transportation, 4 patient rooms, temperature controlled and locked drug storage, fully equipped laboratory for in house specimen processing, specimen freezer/refrigerator, ECG machine, secure record storage, designated monitor space with internet access and less than 1 mile from Tucson Medical Center.

The Northwest Facility is located next to Northwest Medical Center conveniently located to access the patient population of the newly growing area of NW Tucson. This facility is housed within the La Cholla Family Practice office with 5 participating clinical investigators, an additional 7 investigators within 1 mile of the facility. The NW location has locked drug/record storage, laboratory, freezer/refrigerator, ECG, monitor space and internet access.

Tucson Clinical Research has unlimited access to physician owned laboratory and Imaging Center (X-ray, CT Scan, Mammography, MRI, DEXA).

Alice Catallini, Research Assistant
Alice has been with Tucson Clinical Research since April of 2007. Alice is responsible for the overall flow of the office and plays a key role in patient recruitment and regulatory documentation. She is IATA certified.

Patient Demographics

Tucson Clinical Research maintains a diverse patient base made up primarily of Caucasians, Hispanics and Native Americans with access to a large geriatric and college-age population.

Other Information

Tucson Clinical Research, in cooperation with its investigators/owners, maintains access to a database of over 100,000 patients and their full medical records; database searches can be done by therapeutic diagnosis, x-ray or laboratory billing codes.

Tucson Clinical Research's investigators/owners are not just consultants- they are truly committed to the success of their clinical trials, and in meeting or exceeding the enrollment goals and timelines of our sponsors.
