R. David Ferrera M.D., Sacramento Research's medical director and principal investigator, has conducted 50 clinical trials over the past 8 years in a wide variety of disease states. He is an A.C.R.P.-Certified Research Investigator. Dr. Ferrera works with a network of primary care physicians who provide an expanded patient population that can meet the needs of almost any trial undertaken.

• We are looking for men and women at least 18 years old with Type 2 Diabetes that is not adequately controlled while taking one or two drugs to treat diabetes to participate in an approximately 26 week research study, This study will assess the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication (repaglinide with metformin) compared to Avandame ® on controlling blood sugar.
