The Roskamp Institute, established in 1997, and its Clinical Trials Division, are dedicated to the process of pharmaceutical research. We take great pride in our efforts to bring more choices and treatment options to Physicians and their patients. The Institute is committed to providing our sponsors with data that is ready for FDA review.

The Roskamp Institute, Clinical Trials Division, (or CTD), performs primarily phase II - IV Clinical Research Studies. Our research is conducted with strict adherence to FDA, ICH-GCP and HIPPA guidelines to efficiently deliver a high quality, clean, and credible data product. Our clinical interests include:

The Roskamp Institute is a 40,000 Sq Ft State-of-the-Art Research Facility. We enjoy a cooperative relationship with the Alzheimer’s Association, the Sarasota County Senior Friendship Center, Bayside Behavioral Health and Coastal Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. We are conveniently located 5 minutes north of Sarasota International Airport, 45 minutes south of Tampa International Airport, and just minutes from any one of 4 local area hospitals. Our CTD has a separate research suite equipped with Coordinator offices, Physical Exam facilities, Psychometric testing rooms, lab processing, and secured areas for Drug and Specimens, both ambient and frozen to -70°. We have ample space for on-site archiving of CRFs and other clinical documents, and we are set up for private CRA monitoring with high speed internet access.

The CTD is an independent, dedicated Clinical Research Site.

Our Clinical Research Coordinators and Nurses are experienced in all aspects of clinical trials, from Regulatory issues to rapid recruitment methods, and trained to deliver complete and accurate research data, while meeting contract goals and sponsor timelines. We are uniquely situated on the border of Sarasota and Bradenton, with easy access to the Island Communities of the Gulf of Mexico, providing a broader patient population than facilities in the downtown business districts of either city. In Addition, the ability to draw on the databases of The Roskamp Institutes Memory Clinics, multiple Sub-Investigator Specialty practices, and walk-in traffic from the Alzheimer's Association, we are in a strong position to enroll patients independent of media advertising.

• Ability to use either Local or Central IRB.
• Access to off-site Specialists and Diagnostic Centers.
• Unique Sub-Set capabilities for on-site Mass Spectrometry, Genomic and Proteomic Research.

• A double-blind, randomized, placebo controlled study of the efficacy, safety & tolerability of 8 week treatment of Rozerem 8 mg (q hs) in sleep disturbed, mild to moderately severe Alzheimer's disease subjects.
• A Phase IV Alzheimer's Disease Trial studying the effectiveness and safety of donepezil hydrochloride (Aricept) in the Hispanic population
• Do you or a loved one have relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis?
• Phase III study comparing different doses of study drug with placebo for Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis (RRMS)
• Phase III study for patients with Relapsing remitting Multiple Sclerosis
