Palm Beach Neurological Center is comprised of Board Certified Neurologists in a private practice setting. The Center specializes in the modern evaluation and treatment of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer's Disease, Stroke, Parkinson's Disease, Epilepsy, Headache and Pain Management.

The Palm Beach Neurological Center is actively involved in research and educational projects at a local and national level. Dr. Michael Tuchman and Dr. Jeffrey Brown have over 20 years experience conducting research in Phases II, III and IV clinical trials in several therapeutic specialty areas including, Neurology and Psychiatry. The Center has conducted research studies sponsored by a variety of pharmaceutical companies including Janssen, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Upjohn, Sandoz, Sterling-Winthrop, Abbott, Merck, Pharma Sector, Cephalon, Burroughs-Wellcome, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Parke-Davis, Cambridge NeuroScience, Hoechst Marion Roussel, Somerset, Lundbeck, Takeda, Protodigm, Pfizer, and Scherer DDS & Schwabe.

The physicians are affiliated with Jupiter Medical Center, Palm Beach Gardens Medical center, St. Mary's Hospital and the Savannas Hospital. Our location is easily accessible from I-95 and the Florida Turnpike. We are just minutes from Palm Beach International Airport located in West Palm Beach. Our staff will assist with travel and lodging arrangements for patients, if needed.

Michael M. Tuchman, MD, FAAN
Neurology and Psychiatry

Dr. Tuchman is Board Certified in Neurology as well as Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. He is also certified in Neuroimaging and is Board eligible in Electroencephalography (EEG), Electromyography (EMG), and Evoked Potentials. Dr. Tuchman has attended post-graduate fellowship training in Neuroimaging, Epilepsy, Cerebrovascular Diseases and Headache management.

Jeffrey B. Brown, MD, FAAN
Neurology and Psychiatry

Dr. Brown is Board Certified in Neurology as well as Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. In addition, Dr. Brown is certified in Computerized Cerebral Tomography, Neurological and Neurovascular Ultrasound, and Magnetic Reasonance Imaging of the Nervous System by the American Society of Neuroimaging. He is also Board eligible in Electroencephalography (EEG). Electromyography (EMG), and Evoked Potentials.

Our staff was chosen with much thought and care in order to provide patients with the best quality medical services in a pleasant, efficient and friendly atmosphere. The Center's full-time research department is dedicated to the evaluation of new and promising treatments in various neurological disorders. Our research coordinators conduct all clinical trials in an efficient and timely manner.

The population of the Palm Beach Garden metro area is 1,250,000. 25% to 30% of the population is geriatrics.

• The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the activity of an investigational medication in comparison to placebo patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer Disease
• The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication versus placebo (no active medication) to treat Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.
• The purpose of this study is to see if a new investigational medication is effective for the treatment of Alzheimer's Disease.
• This research study will evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease taken once daily versus placebo (an inactive substance).
